1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ePets, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using ePets on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Account Registration

You must create an account to use ePets. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Not share your account with unauthorized individuals

3. Veterinary Professional Verification

Veterinary clinic accounts require verification. By applying for a veterinary clinic account, you represent and warrant that:

• You are a licensed veterinary professional or authorized representative of a licensed veterinary practice
• The information you provide about your clinic and qualifications is accurate and current
• You will maintain all necessary licenses and registrations throughout your use of the platform

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use ePets for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
• Enter false, misleading, or fraudulent veterinary records or patient information
• Access or attempt to access another user's account or data without authorization
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to compromise the security of the platform
• Use the platform to transmit malware, spam, or other harmful content
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the platform
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the platform without our written consent

5. Veterinary Records & Data Ownership

Veterinary records entered into ePets remain the property of the veterinary clinic that created them, subject to applicable veterinary regulations. Pet owners have the right to access records pertaining to their pets as provided through the platform's sharing features.

You grant ePets a limited license to host, store, and display your data as necessary to provide the platform's services. We will not use your veterinary records for purposes unrelated to operating the platform.

6. Payment Terms

Pet owner accounts are provided free of charge. Veterinary clinic accounts are subject to per-seat subscription pricing as displayed on our pricing page.

• Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance and are non-refundable except as required by law
• Seats are billed per active team member, with a minimum of 5 seats
• We reserve the right to adjust pricing with 30 days' written notice
• Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your clinic's account

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.

7. Intellectual Property

The ePets platform, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by Waypoint and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our platform without our express written permission.

The ePets name, logo, and associated branding are trademarks of Waypoint. You may not use them without our prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

ePets is provided as a practice management and record-keeping tool. We are not a veterinary care provider and do not provide medical advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• ePets is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied
• We are not liable for any veterinary decisions, diagnoses, or treatments made using information on the platform
• Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform. We may perform scheduled maintenance, deploy updates, or experience outages beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime in advance.

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature. We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• Your veterinary credentials cannot be verified or have been revoked
• Your subscription payments are overdue
• We reasonably believe your use poses a risk to other users or the platform

Upon termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days. After this period, we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a notice on the platform at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of ePets after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
